What is neuroeducation?

Neuroeducation is an emerging field at the confluence of educational pedagogy, neuroscience, psychology and cognitive science. It’s end goal is improved educational outcomes and experiences for students through interdisciplinary collaborations. These collaborations are aimed at developing customized early screening for learning differences, developing curriculum crucial for all students to optimize learning, sustain attention and retain what was learned. Collaborations in the neuroeducational space enhance the existing theoretical frameworks of educational and early childhood environments by creating engaging curriculum and enriching the learning environment. In-Tuned® provides collaborative opportunities meant to maximally impact academic outcomes and build essential adaptive occupational skills for all students.

In-Tuned® Neuroeducation Resources and Collaborations was developed by Julia Grover-Barrey to provide personalized interventions for youth and young adults with learning differences, as well as improve learning experiences for all. In-Tuned® practices are based on neurodevelopment, focus on sensory-motor skills, sensory cortex differentiation using strategies to harness the intrinsic plasticity of the brain and build neural network connectivity. In-Tuned® stresses the importance of active participation and multisensory approaches for successful learning. In-Tuned® goal is to build more collaborations to help children and young people succeed.
